 Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare- Infant Intervention Services offers developmental screenings, interdisciplinary assessments, home and community based therapeutic and education services, early intervention case management services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and supportive services for eligible infants and their families who live in Chesapeake.  Early Childhood Special Education
Young students who have identified developmental delays may be eligible to attend classes that provide early childhood special education. Children ages 2 to 5 are enrolled in their neighborhood schools. Individualized educational plans are developed so that daily instruction is designed to address specific weaknesses and build on the strengths of each child.
