Chesapeake Early Education business forum
Mary Riley and Kathryn Jessee of Chesapeake Youth Foundation/Chesapeake R U Ready? were formally recognized as the charitable recipient of the 15th Annual Chesapeake Business Appreciation Golf Classic by Mayor Alan P. Krasnoff and the Members of City Council at the Tuesday, June 23, 2015 City Council meeting. A total of $8,006.11 was raised by more than 150 members of the business community participating in the May 15th golf tournament held at Cahoon Golf Course. This donation will be used to provide an Early Education Business Mentorship program, in partnership with the Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center to Chesapeake child care centers.
